Open the Portal Indexing page under the menu “Utilities” and select the Casewise model that you would like to work with, choose which user group you want to deal with (i.e. Read Only user group) and add your Portal installation URL.

You can also exclude object types that you don’t want to index like confidential information, i.e. Risk Assessment, Application Portfolio Information,..

The result will be a sitemap under a specific URL address that you can distribute to the 3rd Party indexing Engine. It will follow all links beginning from the sitemap to each property page of the Portal.

The “Direct Edit Link Generator” is part of the DMM Utilities and generates an interactive Button for you. Select the right DMM-View, the Object Type, the Property Name, a test record, the property value that you would like to set as default value and the finally the button text (label)

Once you click on “Generate the link” a test link and the full HTML Code appears. This HTML Code can be embedded into your HTML Publication of Corporate Publisher. All you need to do is to use CP Scripting and replace the placeholder value “YOUR_RECORD_ID”.

As the Corporate Publisher creates a static HTML Publication we can combine this output with the Data Maintenance Modules in different ways:

1. Adding the “DMM Edit” Button for each object instance
2. Adding the “DMM Direct Edit” Button for each property of each object

Both solutions enables the read-only user of the HTML Publication to edit and update the requirement information with just one mouse click. Authentication, change logging will be done by the DMM in the background.

Below some examples showing the flexibility of HTML and Word Publications.

Within the Object Explorer you can perform the following actions on all information objects (enterprise data):

• Edit Properties
• Create new Objects
• Create new Relationships between Objects (Association)
• Edit Properties on the Relationship
• Open Diagrams

You can also structure your enterprise data in your own hierarchically folder system. Of course also user defined objects can be handled in the same way as the standard objects in Object Explorer.

You can either use Corporate Modeler an the Matrix Manager to visualize your enterprise. Any information objects you use to describe you enterprise can be maintained with the Data Maintenance Solution. The following Screen Shots giving you an overview of the flexibility of this modeling solution.

Because the Corporate Modeler Suite is based on the flexible Corporate Exchange you can add new Object Types, i.e. Risk, Business Goals,.. without any coding and you can use them immediately for modeling your enterprise.

One modeling tool for Enterprise Architecture (EA), Business Process Management (BPM) and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC).

For each information property you can do the following:

• Label the property, i.e. if the Process has a property Description you can rename it into “Process description”
• Restrict the property to read-only. The Information owner can see this information but cant change it
• Required allows to set the property mandatory. The information owner has to add the information in order to save the changes made.
• Help Text is a User defined Help that will be read out of the Corporate Exchange but can be customized to your needs so that the information owner gets some guidance on how to fill out the specific information property

The number “Tags per model” is an indicator how many Tags can be used at the same time for tagging the DMM-View but also the content.

When designing a DMM-View you can select one or more Tags in the section “Scope Tags”. By doing this the DMM-View is enabled for filtering information. The Tags can be created in the Corporate Modeler Suite.

Now you can start switching the tagging mechanism for the base object or for each section. Be careful when switch tagging on as you wont see the full amount of information anymore. Not only in the base object and the sections but also when linking new objects or using the search.
You also have to make sure that you have tagged the various objects with Object Explorer or with AutoModeler.

Usually you have one or two models to document your enterprise, this can be a Production- and a Development Model or certain project related models.
